Why, hello there! My name is Sarah, and I am the creative mind behind The Tattered Traveler. Since opening in 2011, I have been pouring my creative soul into this one-man-show small business, creating a wide array of art and decor. After graduating from Anderson University in 2014, I was able to pour my time and energy into fully pursuing my passion for the arts. Watercolor, acrylic, gouache, digital, multimedia, pen, marker, graphite, charcoal, wood, embroidery, knitting, sewing, gardening.... I find so much joy in creating. 

 

Every piece of artwork is inspired by a passion for those everyday comforts that bring joy and an earnest curiosity for life and the way the world turns. I will always be a sucker for capturing light and the way it interacts with water and glass.

A little more about my life, if you are still curious! I am married to my best friend, college sweetheart, and sidekick in all adventures, Eric. We have the coolest kid ever, Emmy, who is currently a blue belt in Jeet Kune Do (Bruce Lee's Kung Fu). We spend a lot of our free time in nature, hiking, foraging, and walking our furry orange ball of energy, Bruno! Our home is colorful and funky and full of art and craft supplies and board games. We're always busy, but our favorite time is when we're together.
